Non-invasive diagnostic test for concussion in rugby players

A non-invasive and rapid diagnostic test for concussion in rugby players could be used pitch side and after the game at all levels of participation, new research suggests. Distinct chemical “signatures” for concussion have been identified in the saliva of elite male rugby players, research published online in the British Journal of Sports Medicine revealed.
