Jurisdiction: parties to the arbitration agreement
AB v CD  HKCFI 327 is one of the rare cases in which a Hong Kong court has set aside an arbitration award. The main ground for doing so was that the applicant had not been shown to be a party to the proceedings. However, that point aside, there had been a failure to effect proper service on the respondent. The case is considered by Edward Yang Liu, Legal Director, Hill Dickinson Hong Kong.
