QBE wins Limit

Lloyd’s insurer Limit has recommended a £375mn takeover bid from Australian insurer QBE after an on-off relationship with Wellington Underwriting. The acquisition will make QBE the largest Lloyd’s insurer, with capacity of £950mn.
