AON NAMES SCHWEBACH AS SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR OF REINSURANCE

Aon has appointed Eric Schwebach to the newly created post of senior managing director of its Reinsurance Solutions division to focus on the management of major clients and new business. Based in Minneapolis, he will report to Trevor Dorr, executive managing director of Reinsurance Solutions. Schwebach joins from Guy Carpenter, where he most recently served as a senior vice-president and a member of its North American property/casualty treaty broking unit. The move marks a homecoming of sorts for Schwebach. Prior to this stint at Guy Carpenter, he served on Aon Benfield’s client development and production teams in Chicago.
