In October 2019 the Football Association Premier League Ltd (the PL) commenced an arbitration against Manchester City Football Club (the Club). In June 2020 the Club brought an arbitration claim contending, inter alia, that the arbitration tribunal lacked jurisdiction. The judge dismissed the claim and ordered that her judgment be published. Both parties opposed publication.
