TYSERS MAKES SENIOR HIRES TO BOOST GLOBAL GROWTH
Tysers has made a series of senior hires as it targets growth across its core marine and aviation, North American property/casualty (P&C) and retail business lines. The broker has named Ethel Chan as director for its marine and aviation team, based in Singapore. Chan, who previously led the marine specialty team at JLT, will be responsible for driving growth across Asia. Concurrently, Tysers has appointed Diana Sailor as a director, where she will oversee complex marine risks. She was most recently head of insurance and legal at Zodiac Maritime. In a push to expand its North American P&C line, Tysers has hired Chris Cavani as director and James Morgan as associate director. Both join from AFL Insurance Brokers. On the retail front, the broker has hired Paul Scott as operations director and John Franks as claims director. Both previously held roles in Erskine Murray Insurance Brokers. Tysers has also made new hires for its Dubai office as it seeks to take advantage of growth opportunities in the market. The broker will have Arjun Venugopal join later this year as associate director, as well as Jack Plom and Adrian Briffa as brokers.
