HOWDEN HIRES WTW'S REED TO LEAD LARGE CORPORATE GROWTH

Howden has unveiled plans to grow its large corporate clients book. The broker has appointed former Willis Towers Watson executive Adam Reed as managing director of its corporate client relations division. Reed has more than two decades of experience across the insurance market, including positions at Aon and Marsh. He was most recently global client relationship director at Willis Towers Watson, where he has worked since 2015. Based in the UK, Reed will focus on building new and developing existing relationships with large corporate clients by bringing together expertise from across Howden’s global broking network with that of its specialty and reinsurance teams, the broker said. Reed will be based in the UK and his appointment will be effective after completion of his contractual obligations. He will become a member of Howden UK’s executive committee.
