Ningbo-Zhoushan closure further cripples already fragile supply chain

Operations were suspended indefinitely in August at the Meishan terminal in the port of Ningbo-Zhoushan, which predominantly services North America and Europe. According to terminal officials, service was suspended until further notice due to a Covid-19 outbreak and vessels were being redirected to other terminals within the Ningbo-Zhoushan port, creating a delay in the delivery and shipment of goods.
