Has the music stopped for carousel fraudsters?

Long after its heyday, carousel fraud continues to hit the headlines, writes Rachel Clark, barrister at 33 Chancery Lane. The recent case of R v Umerji [2021] EWCA Crim 598 shows that the after-effects can linger long after the wrongdoing first took place.
