Big reduction in personal injury award levels in Ireland

Personal injury award levels in Ireland have reduced on average by 40 per cent in the five months after the introduction of new injuries guidelines, according to a report published by the Irish Personal Injuries Assessment Board (PIAB). The report on personal injuries award values covers the period from the 27 April, when the new guidelines came into effect, to the end of September.
