SOMPO INTERNATIONAL APPOINTS GERMANY COUNTRY MANAGER

Sompo International has appointed Eric Kox as country manager for its German insurance operations. Kox joins from AIG Europe. The carrier said the expansion of its specialty offering in Europe, and particularly Germany, was an important strategic part of its plan for growth. Sompo International has had a presence in Germany for more than 30 years through its Japanese accounts and professional lines business.
