Group action on organ retention

The National Committee Relating to Organ Retention is seeking a group litigation order for action launched on behalf of families whose relatives’ organs were retained without consent. The lead action relates to a patient treated at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust; 134 hospitals – excluding the Alder Hey action which is covered by a separate order – are implicated.
