DBV doubles medical liability cover

Responding to increased levels of compensation, Germany’s largest medical liability insurer, DBV-Winterthur, has almost doubled the level of cover available from €3mn to €5mn, with premiums remaining almost stable. Although it is not a particularly profitable sector, opportunities for cross-selling - boosted by a 10% discount for doctors taking out other insurance – make it attractive.
