Endorsement of bill of lading moves liability

It was held that a shipping intermediate holder of a bill of lading ceases to be liable under the bill once it is endorsed and passed to another person. This is in relation to a shipment of propane gas from Saudi Arabia to Sweden (in 1993), in the course of which a number of on-sales were made.
