Alleged negligence in spinal surgery

Shally v Imperial College Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust [2023] EWHC 1304 (KB); [2023] Med LR 391

A claim has been brought for clinical negligence against a Trust by a man who had undergone surgery to deal with a calcified prolapsed thoracic disc when he was aged 42. He was left in a worse state than he was in before the operation, and he alleged that his treatment had been mismanaged.
