Rising tide of lawsuits for US trucking firms

Trucking companies in the US face a rising tide of lawsuits, according to the US Chamber of Commerce Institute for Legal Reform (ILR). Its recent study “Roadblock: The Trucking Litigation Problem and How to Fix It” says that part of the problem is the increase in nuclear verdicts, which are jury awards worth US$10 million or more.
