US$1.56 billion award in Bayer’s Roundup case

A Missouri jury has awarded US$1.56 billion to plaintiffs in a case in which plaintiffs claimed damages for their decades of exposure to Bayer’s Roundup weedkiller. Forrest Weldon Law Group, whose attorneys represented the plaintiffs, said “evidence from the trial brought to light the egregious negligence of Bayer as it continues to sell its Roundup weedkiller following documented cases of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma tied to glyphosate exposure.”
