The FCA's Consumer Duty principle

Challenging misconceptions around vulnerability

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)'s new Consumer Duty principle came into force on 31 July 2023 for new and existing products and services that are open for sale or renewal. According to the FCA: "The Consumer Duty is a cornerstone of our three-year strategy and a key element of our work to set and test higher standards."
