In the first case of its kind, the mother of a nine-year-old girl is reported to be bringing a claim against the UK Government,
following an inquest in which it had been found that air pollution had caused her daughter's death. The Department for Environment,
Food and Rural Affairs, the Department for Transport, and the Department of Health and Social Care have been named as defendants
in the claim.
