Crown exemption from liability in tort to members of the Armed Forces

The statutory provision exempting the Crown from liability in tort to members of the Armed Forces for events prior to 1987 was a provision of substantive law, and thus not affected by the fair trial requirements of article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights. To be appealed to the House of Lords.
