Research reveals work risk areas for professional negligence

Research by Howden into professional negligence notifications received by the broker from 2020 to 2023, has revealed that the work areas in which it saw the highest number of professional negligence notifications have consistently been: residential conveyancing; trusts; wills and probate; and personal injury – claimant. However, in 2023, it was residential conveyancing, trusts, wills and probate, and commercial conveyancing.
