Tillinghast D&O Survey: 2001

The Tillinghast – Towers Perrin’s 2001 Directors and Officers Liability Survey shows sharp increases in the costs of litigation against directors and officers, particularly from shareholders, and widespread concerns about high-profile bankruptcies and the quality of corporate accounting and financial reporting. Premiums rose by 29%, more than double the 11% rise of 2000.
