Court jurisdiction within the United Kingdom

Article 17 of Schedule 4 to the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act (1982) was not to be construed as to prevent exclusive jurisdiction being created for hearing in the courts of one part of the United Kingdom. Held that the modification of wording of article 17 of the Brussels Convention on Jurisdiction and the Enforcement of Judgments in Civil and Commercial Matters was intentional.
