The claimant, Symphony, a Liberian company, was the owner of the vessel
A Symphony. The defendant, Sea Justice, a Marshall Islands company, was the owner of
Sea Justice. On 27 April 2021 the two vessels collided off the coast of Qingdao, PRC. The collision caused substantial damage to the hull
and cargo of
ASymphony and also gave rise to a serious oil pollution incident.
