Trans-Tasman anti-suit injunctions in international trade

Between New Zealand and Australia there is a judicial cooperation based on the Agreement on Trans-Tasman Court Proceedings and Regulatory Enforcement (hereinafter TTRA). In light of the agreement, both countries enacted their own Trans-Tasman Proceedings Act (TTPA). A recent decision from the New Zealand High Court has set a precedent in considering the availability of anti-suit injunctions under the Trans-Tasman Proceedings Act 2010 (New Zealand).
