Regulators consult on shrinking restrictions around bankers' pay

Fewer people are likely to be caught in the deferment rules on bankers' pay after regulators promised changes and a simplification in their operation.

A key threshold for determining the application of the banker bonus rules to individual employees could be increased 32 per cent - as part of a package now out for consultation from the Prudential Regulation Authority and the Financial Conduct Authority.
