Fire off Tianjin

On 18 November passenger ship Orient Princess (IMO 6708109) caught fire while it was in Haihe Bund Park, Tianjin City, China. According to the operating company, the ship was being renovated and upgraded in preparation for future operations. It said that sparks from the renovation work had ignited the insulation cotton, which in turn caused the fire. The fire was extinguished and there were no casualties.
