Impact of digital technologies on work-related psychosocial risks

Digital technologies can enhance efficiency, offer ergonomic benefits and improve communication, but also present risks like increased stress, reduced autonomy and invasive surveillance, according to a new report from EU-OSHA and the Joint Research Centre. The report, “Digitalisation and workers wellbeing: The impact of digital technologies on work-related psychosocial risks”, underscores the importance of occupational safety and health (OSH) measures to mitigate these challenges.
