Misfeasance in public office

BCLI v Commissioner of Police for the Metropolis [2024] EWHC 3018 (KB)

Claims for misfeasance in public office are few and far between, and the proceedings in the case outlined below were complicated by the history of the litigation for alleged sexual abuse of the claimant between 1966 and 1976. Ultimately, the decision of the judge was made on the basis of res judicata and issues of limitation.
