Successful claim for inadequate informed consent in dentistry

Winterbotham v Shahrak [2024] EWHC 2633 (KB); [2024] Med LR 521

In what appears to be an early application of the McCullogh principle based on a case of that name, in which it was held that the Bolam/Bolitho test applied to the question as to whether an alternative treatment was "reasonable", a claimant who suffered continuing pain after dental treatment succeeded in her action against a dentist.
