White v Williams [2025] EWHC 115 (Ch)

Practitioners in the field of contentious probate are accustomed to beneficiaries, or would-be beneficiaries, fighting tooth and nail for a share of an estate. It is relatively unusual for a beneficiary to reject entirely a legacy to which they are entitled. Nonetheless, it does occasionally happen and it was the subject of a recent case in the High Court, White v Williams [2025] EWHC 115 (Ch).
