Singapore Airlines crash victims get US$15m

The family of a couple killed in the Singapore Airlines crash in October 2000 have been awarded US$15m. The insurers of Singapore Airlines, including the Singapore Aviation & General Insurance, will cover the airlines’ liability. The airline did not dispute liability. The crash killed 83 people in total when it travelled down an incorrect runway and hit construction equipment.
