Rail company sued over lack of seatbelts

First Great Western is to be sued by the father of one of the victims of the Berkshire rail crash. The man was unhurt in the accident but his 14 year old daughter died, and he is suing the rail company for failing to fit seatbelts on high-speed trains. He believes that his daughter would have survived if she had been wearing a seatbelt. The man is also said to be suing Network Rail over the issue of safety at unmanned level crossings.
