France prepares to announce details of terrorism reinsurance

The cost of a new terrorism scheme is just one of the many issues that have yet to be revealed to insurers

The French state is preparing to adjust the reinsurance cover against terrorist attacks that it offers to members of the insurers’ federation FFSA and the mutual group GEMA for losses in excess of €2bn (US$2.3bn) next year.
