12.11, Pakistani earthquake damage estimates

Pakistan: according to the latest estimates, the cost of the devastating earthquake would be to the tune of US$5.2bn according to a Preliminary Damage and Needs Assessment done by the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. Out of the total estimates, reconstruction would cost $3.5bn, relief $1bn, early recovery and livelihood $400mn and death and injury compensation $205mn.
