Scor faces further litigation in US over Irish subsidiary’s shares

Highfields Capital Management has filed a new complaint after Scor wins the first hearing on a technicality

French reinsurer Scor has won the first round in its legal battle with the Highfields investment funds in the US. The United States District Court of Massachusetts has dismissed without prejudice the funds’ case against the reinsurer on the grounds that the funds failed to establish the court’s jurisdiction in the matter.
