Allianz branches out into micro-insurance in Indonesia

Allianz is involved in a micro-insurance pilot project in Indonesia. Under the name of Payung Keluarga (Family Umbrella), the pilot product provides credit life insurance to borrowers from micro-finance institutions (essentially banks for poor people).
