US: the Connecticut Attorney General announced that GlaxoSmithKline Plc has agreed to a US$70mn settlement over cancer drug
prices. Attorney General Richard Blumenthal said in a statement the settlement will provide restitution to consumers in Connecticut,
New York, Nevada, Montana and Arizona who suffered from a “decade long company scheme to inflate the price of two cancer drugs
[Zofran and Kytril]”.
