Outsourcing is back in fashion

Despite all the hype, growth in the UK insurance industry’s use of outsourcing has remained static over the past two years. Ian Hubbard, data services director of CDMS, says regulation is to blame. However, with most of the new rules already integrated, outsourcing could take off in earnest with forecasts for it to outstrip outsourcing in the banking sector by 2008.
