To date, the insurer has reportedly only paid $300,000 towards the initial claim
Officers investigating a liability case in Bolivia dating back to 1979 are being accused of tampering with evidence to allow
a local insurance company to avoid full payment of an original claim of US$2.0mn, which after the accumulated consequential
loss, interest and other additions, currently totals around $12.25mn.
