Chile’s health insurers win back lost membership numbers

Although results for the first half of 2007 were down, and market indications are that the trend continued in the third quarter
of the year, Chile’s private health providers (ISAPRES) continued to benefit from the increase in their membership numbers.
If anything, the pace is quickening, as more than half of the 121,000 additional subscribers recruited since the trough of
2004 joined in the first 11 months of 2007 alone.
