Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Bill

Implications for insurers

The new Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Bill will fundamentally change English contract law by reforming the legal rule known as ‘privity of contract’, which prevents a person who is not a party to a contract from enforcing it even if the contract is for their benefit.
