One major approval missing

In the Seaflower , the first high court case to be reported considering oil major approval clauses in tanker charterparties, the commercial court was asked to determine whether the failure by owners to comply with a guarantee that they would procure Exxon’s approval amounted to a condition the breach of which entitled charterers to bring a time charter to an end.
