ICS and ISF hold annual general meeting in Oslo

THE International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) and the International Shipping Federation (ISF) held their annual general meetings in Oslo, from 12–14 June, at the invitation of the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association. Recent international maritime developments were reveiwed, under the chairmanship of Rolf Westfal-Larsen. Among the issues discussed were maritime security, Marpol Annex VI (air pollution), the Panama Canal toll increase and STCW 95.
