Ship arrest in Belgium – part I

1.1.The arrest can always be done on the ship to which the claim relates if it is still in the same ownership

Belgium is a party to the Arrest Convention of 10 May 1952 (the Arrest Convention). It was incorporated into Belgian law by Statute of 24 March 1961.
