$250m satellite loss flagged

LONDON - Sources in London said they expected some $250m in insured losses will result from the loss on Wednesday of a US Delta 3 rocket and its payload of a PanAmSat Galaxy 10 communications satellite which exploded only one minute after launch at Cape Canaveral. The cover is understood to be placed in the international markets in London, Continental Europe and the US.
