Scope of work and interpretation of contracts
A Introduction
4.1 In this chapter we look at how to establish what exactly it is that the Contractor has been contracted to build and the difficulties that may arise. We consider how the technical requirements of the contract may be understood properly, particularly where there are uncertainties or inconsistencies; this is almost inevitable given the complexity and innovation of offshore construction projects.
